ISBS Travel Grant CLOSED

NOW CLOSED ISBS is now inviting submissions for ISBS Travel Grants. Applications can be submitted via e-mail to isbstravelgrant@isbs2009.com ; the e-mail should indicate "Application for ISBS Travel Grant"
Applications should be in the form of 200 word max e-mail justifying the award for your research. The closing dates for applications is 29th June 2009 23.59 BST, the award winners will be notified via e-mail on 13th July 2009.
ISBS TRAVEL GRANTS/SCHOLARSHIPS Goal: The goal of the Travel Grant is to financially support colleagues to attend conferences, who would not be able or have great difficulties to participate due to financial restrictions of their countries or universities.
Eligibility: All graduate students who are enrolled in a graduate degree (Master's or PhD) and have a paper accepted for presentation at the annual Conference of ISBS under the common review process. The applicants have to make it clear that they have difficulties to attend due to the economical restrictions from their institutions or countries.
Amount of Scholarship: ISBS offers up to 5 scholarships of €600. Eligible expenses are travel expenses, student housing, and conference registration.
In case of more requests than the number of scholarships avalable, the scholarships must be given in in accordance with the following priorities:
1) Based on the importance of the economical restrictions from their institutions or countries.
2) Rank in the authorship.
3) Types of presentation (oral and poster).
